About the Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Manager, the Electronics Engineering Tech D provides support for medical technology by repairing, maintaining, and calibrating medical imaging devices and other medical devices as well as maintaining medical computers and networks. The Electronics Engineering Tech D also assists in the training of physicians, nurses, technologists, and other Diagnostic Imaging staff as well as performing safety performance and routine inspections and service on electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment and systems.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Graduate of a two-year course in Electronics Engineering Technology (accredited diploma) required
- Must be registered or eligible to be registered with TechNova as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience required working with medical imaging equipment
- Must have working knowledge, safety, and experience in servicing radiation emitting devices and all medical imaging devices with electrical devices
- Must have working knowledge/training of electronics with the ability to understand the operation and have manual skills required to repair, calibrate, perform safety, performance routine inspections on electronic, electrical, mechanical and optical equipment, devices, systems and instruments
- Effective communication skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Short assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Approximately 6 months
- Shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends
Compensation and Benefits
$38.26 - $44.44 hourly
