About the Opportunity

 

Reporting to an IM/IT Director, the IM/IT Manager oversees a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of initiatives and programs throughout the province.

 

The IM/IT Manager supporting the Human Resources (HR) Digital Solutions portfolio leads the  overall administration and transformation of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and will contribute to ensuring our HR digital tools support business goals, enhance the employee experience and enable data-driven decision-making. The role will performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to leading the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the HRIS platform, collaboration with partners, management of upgrades and integrations, vendor management and providing leadership of projects. Additionally, this management position ensures that all activities within their responsible area are supported by NSH IM/IT mission and vision, established policies/procedures, and in line with service level agreements between NSH, IWK and the department of health. The IM/IT manager will also function as a senior subject matter expert role within the team.

 

About You

 

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field required (Such as Human Resources, Information Sysytems, or Buisness Administration). Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and minimum of 10 years progressive leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience with IT/IM Services, programs and applications required
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, UKG) is an asset
  • Experience in complex unionized environment an asset
  • Certifications in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management Professionals (PMP), organizational change management certification and/or CPHR (Certified professional human resources) are an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse group of partners
  • Excellent project management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight
  • Experience with data analytics, reporting tools and system integrations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners

Hours

  • Permanent Full-Time Position; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Benefits

$46.35- $57.94 Hourly
