About the Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager of Central Laundry, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Loading and unloading of washers. 
  • Responsible for proper chemical balance in washers. 
  • Soiled linen sorting, shakeout and folding. 
  • Transport by truck soiled and clean linen to various sites. 
  • Loads and unloads linen carts from the truck. 
  • Distributes clean linen and picks up soiled linen various locations. 
  • Performs other duties as described in the job description.
  • Completes all required documentation, driver’s logs & vehicle circle checks.
  • Performs various duties on clean side of laundry facility.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Grade 12 / GED
  • Previous Industrial washer experience with knowledge of laundry chemicals. 
  • 1 year relevant experience required    
  • Ability to safely operate standard transmission vehicle. 
  • Clean driving abstract. 
  • Previous laundry & linen experience. 
  • Class 5 Drivers License

Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent, part-time (40%) position; 30 hours bi-weekly
  • Shifts are Saturday and Sunday; 7:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Compensation and Benefits

$20.13 - $21.69 Hourly
