About the Opportunity
Nova Scotia Health is hiring Radiological Technologists, CT Technologists, MRI Technologists and Nuclear Medicine Technologists, across the province. The Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
- Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
- Qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is an asset
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia.
- Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel to other sites may be required.
- You will be given the opportunity to specify your work hours and location preferences in the application.
Compensation and Benefits
Radiological Technologist - General Imaging: $32.56 - $39.64 hourly
CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist: $36.15 - $42.19 hourly
Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
