Additional urgent care shifts are available every Friday and on alternate weekends for those interested in supplementing their practice. Eastern Shore Memorial Family Practice is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from July 29, 2026 to August 11, 2026.
Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
