Company Description
Tacoma Family Medicine is a well‑established primary care clinic located in central Dartmouth. The practice includes two full‑time physicians and one part‑time physician who work together by sharing office space, administrative support, and clinical resources. The clinic is supported by four experienced front‑office staff who manage daily operations and provide full billing support. Tacoma uses the MedAccess EMR and maintains a well‑organized, collegial environment that supports both independent practice and team collaboration.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services within a small, supportive group practice.
- Accept a mix of patients from the Need a Family Practice Registry and/or contribute to stabilizing existing patient panels.
- Deliver office‑based care with strong administrative and billing support.
- Perform office procedures if desired, including lumps and bumps and Well Woman care; clinic support and instrument sterilization are available.
Expected Hours
- Full‑time or flexible schedule options available based on physician preference.
- No on‑call responsibilities.
- Standard daytime clinic operations.
Qualifications
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- All family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
