Job Description

Pelham Medical Services is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from August 10th, 2026, to August 21st, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
  • utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Remuneration

  • guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)
  • additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.
  • accommodations up to $300 per night 
  • travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)
  • travel time up to 10 hours per week
  • licensing fees for College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSNS)

Pelham Medical Services is a well-established family medicine clinic using Med Access EMR, with a collaborative team consisting of two other family physicians, a Nurse Practitioners, and a strong administrative support team. The clinic offers comprehensive primary care services and includes access to a fully equipped procedural room for physicians interested in performing office-based procedures. Flexible practice opportunities and a supportive collegial environment are available.
