The clinic is staffed by a supportive team including an experienced dietitian, pharmacist, social worker, and dedicated clerical staff, providing well-rounded support to both patients and physicians. Physicians enjoy a balanced practice with no hospital responsibilities, allowing them to focus entirely on providing comprehensive primary care within the clinic setting.

Job Description

Shubenacadie Medical Clinic is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage from July 2 -July 11 2025.

Locum physicians provide coverage for family practices, including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage as requested. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 for half-day), with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount. Travel expenses, including kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), are reimbursed, along with travel time up to 10 hours per week.
