The Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health seeks applications
for a Dermatologist in the Division of Dermatology at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax,
Nova Scotia.
The Division of Dermatology is one of 15 divisions within the Department of Medicine and is a
leader of tertiary clinical services in the Atlantic Provinces. In addition to playing an important
clinical role in the Department, division members have excellent opportunities for collaborative
educational and research activities to facilitate rewarding and fulfilling career development.
The Division of Dermatology is seeking a full-time academic dermatologist to join the group and
be responsible for clinical work in adult and pediatric patients in addition to taking on the role of
the Division Research Director. This role includes protected research time, chairing the divisional
research committee and oversight of resident research endeavors.

Qualifications
Candidates must hold FRCPC (or equivalent) certification in Dermatology. Candidates must have
a minimum of a Master’s degree or be working towards one. Candidates must be eligible for
specialty licensure in Nova Scotia. Senior residents in their final year and recent graduates of
accredited Royal College training programs who are eligible to write the Royal College
subspecialty certification exam are welcome to apply.
