The Elmsdale Medical Centre is a Collaborative Practice wherein physicians and supporting licensed healthcare professionals collaborate on general healthcare outcome targets, meet to discuss patient care and cover each other’s patients while a physician is not scheduled in the clinic. The Medical Centre also works in collaboration with locum physicians to provide coverage to support vacation times when requested. We welcome and encourage physicians who choose to provide health care services at local hospitals, nursing homes etc.
Your exam rooms and office space is fully equipped including EMR - TELUS Health Med Access and computer hardware. Attractive overhead model with no minimum monthly amount and scaling incentives. Although the Elmsdale Clinic is considered rural, the clinic is only located 20-30 minutes outside the city of Halifax. In collaboration with the existing team of six physicians, three- family practice nurses and nurse practitioner, the incoming physician (s) will be a part of a collaborative clinic serving the patients of the Elmsdale Medical Centre. e.

The Elmsdale Medical Center is seeking a family physician to provide locum coverage from March 10 to March 14, 2025.
Qualifications
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- All family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
