The clinic features fully equipped exam rooms, existing clerical support staff, and a dedicated family practice nurse to enhance your efficiency and patient care. Additionally, a pharmacist is available to support medication management.
Opportunities include working in family medicine, hospitalist roles, or long-term care, with the option to adjust your focus based on your preferences. Ambulatory Care time is also available, with the Colchester East Hants Health Centre (CEHHC) nearby, providing access to a full-service hospital.
The practice offers flexible hours, with a 0.6–1.0 FTE schedule depending on your availability, making it an ideal setting to achieve a balanced and fulfilling career.
Job Description
The Village Family Physicians are seeking a Family Physician to provide locum coverage during the following dates in 2025:
- January 24–31
- March 10–24
- September (2 weeks, specific dates to be determined)
Qualifications
- eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
