Job Description

Responsibilities

work as a full scope of practice neurologist providing care to the patients within Western Zone
support Nova Scotia Health in advancing the delivery of neurology care by liaising with the applicable staﬀ within the zone and province
oﬀer consultation support to Western Zone, which includes day-time coverage only; while there is currently no on call requirement, that could change should circumstances allow for a 24/7 schedule with a maximum of 1 in 4 call
be accountable to the patient population in Western Zone by providing clinics and occasional satellite clinics that will require travel
responsible to the Zone Internal Medicine Department Head (or delegate) and ZMED for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice
operate within the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health
