Company Description

The Cumberland Primary Care Clinics (PCC) are located in Advocate Harbour, Amherst, Parrsboro, Pugwash, River Hebert and Springhill, Nova Scotia. The PCC's provide temporary primary care access to patients registered on the Need a Family Practice registry and living in Cumberland County.
The clinics provide appointments for people who have an immediate health care need that requires care. Patients can make an appointment with a healthcare provider at the while they continue to remain on the registry to find a family practice. 
The clinics currently have Nurse Practitioners, Family Practice Nurses, and Physicians. An EMR is utilized, and report follow up can be done through the EMR.

Responsibilities

Physician will be responsible to the zone department head of family practice for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice, and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority

Expected Hours

Sessional hourly rate available. Flexible hours can be accommodated.
