About the Opportunity

The Research Student Aide will be responsible to complete the specific tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator and/or Research Manager within the timelines of their employment. The Research Student Aide contributes to a particular research study or division by assisting with study administration by providing general administrative support, shipping of items, generating reports from databases, and data entry.  

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Completion of grade XII required
  • Current post-secondary student in an undergraduate or community college program required
  • A student in health professions or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology an asset
  • Research related experience an asset
  • Experience using different data bases including the ability to query data and generate reports
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Email (Outlook), Internet, Fax machine
  • Accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Well-developed organizational, time management, and daily planning skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Casual relief, no guaranteed hours
  • Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (if applicable)

Compensation and Benefits

$16.75 - $20.75 hourly
