About You
We want to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from a recognized university
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers NSCSW | Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a Social Worker required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Minimum two (2) years of experience required. If not available, candidates with less than two (2) years of experience may be considered for the selection process. If offered employment, they will be placed on the Health Care Social Worker (Developmental) scale.

Compensation and Benefits
BSW Level:
$40.18 - $55.49 Hourly
Developmental (less than 2years experience) $35.83 - $38.79 Hourly
MSW Level:
$42.21 - $58.30 Hourly
Developmental (less than 2 years experience) $37.64 - $49.94 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Hours
Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia.
Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
