Incentives

Successful external applicants may be eligible for a one-time $10,000 signing bonus and up to $5,000 in relocation assistance, subject to a two (2) year return-of-service agreement.

About the Opportunity

The Supervisor coordinates daily operations, supports facility staff, and oversees work with contractors to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.  The role involves troubleshooting, prioritizing, and supervising maintenance activities while also providing backup support to the Manager and Chief Engineer.  The Supervisor helps ensure all facilities are safe, reliable, and meet the standards required to support patient care, clinical services, and mission-critical operations. 

About You

  • Grade 12/GED required
  • Red Seal Journeyman ticket in one of the facilities related trades: Electrician, Refrigeration, Carpenter, Plumber, etc. AND/OR Licensed Power Engineer/Plant Operator AND/OR other relevant Building/Facilities related certificate/diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in hospital facility systems maintenance AND/OR 3 years of experience with building infrastructure in an acute-care hospital setting 

Hours

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours weekly plus on call rotation and overtime as required
