About the Opportunity

Under the direction of the Manager, the Respiratory Therapist applies their knowledge, skills and judgment in the provision of diagnostic, assessment and therapeutic modalities to assist in the management of cardiorespiratory and related disorders in collaboration with the physician and other health care professionals. The Respiratory Therapist also participates in education of patients, families and other health care providers.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

 

  • Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapy program from an accredited institution
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care Exams
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists
  • One-year Respiratory Therapy experience 
  • Current certification in BCLS and ACLS
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Permanent part-time position, 45 hours bi-weekly
  • Position includes on call

Compensation and Benefits

$34.24 - $42.92 Hourly
