About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, the Interdisciplinary Clinical Leader provides leadership, innovation and support to their clinical program areas, with the goal of providing collaborative person-centered care to patients and families.  The inter-professional clinical leader works closely with the team/program managers, professional practice coordinators, physicians, nurse leaders and other team members, to promote person-centered, collaborative care by employees within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.  Roles and responsibilities may include: fostering healthy inter-professional team processes that support person centered care across the continuum, identifying staffing needs and ensuring staffing requirements are being met on a daily basis, assisting in the development of client centered staffing models, fostering team processes that encompass the continuum of patient care from admission through discharge into the community, program planning and evaluation - ensuring practice is inter-professional and evidence informed, participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of new team members, and supporting a quality approach to service delivery.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Bachelor of Science in relevant health discipline
  • License with the relevant licensing body
  • Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience required
  • Demonstrates success in collaborating in others
  • Experience in facilitating teams
  • Good understanding of person centered health care
  • Superior level of communication
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, common sense, flexibility and compassion
  • Coaching ability and diplomacy when dealing with co-workers and persons in the community
  • Demonstrates initiative, be self-motivated and work independently
  • Strive to maintain high quality, innovative service
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with patients, colleagues, management, community agencies, academic settings, students and volunteers
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

  • Long Assignment Full-time / 75 Hours Bi-weekly 
  • Approximately 16 Months
  • Shiftwork / Call / Rotation / etc

Compensation and Benefits

$38.07 - $46.36 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
