Aylesford

Zone

In the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Aylesford is a small and tranquil community surrounded by the region's idyllic rural landscapes. Known for its agricultural roots, the area is dotted with picturesque farms and orchards, contributing to the town's pastoral charm. An important crop is cranberries cultivated on the extensive peat bogs.

Originally settled by United Empire Loyalists during the American Revolution, Aylesford was named after the fourth Earl of Aylesford, Lord of the Bedchamber to George III. Today, the quiet streets and close-knit community create a peaceful atmosphere and a serene setting for a relaxed lifestyle. An elementary school and selection of shops serve residents. Aylesford’s appeal lies in the simplicity of rural life, the warmth of small-town living, and the genuine connections forged among its residents.
