A streamlined pathway is now available for registered pharmacists in Australia and New Zealand. This streamlined pathway gets you working and living in Nova Scotia faster than ever.

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Hold an active pharmacist license/registration in good standing in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Have practiced sufficient direct patient care within the last two years to maintain your competency to practice.
Step 1
Complete the application form
Step 2
Provide a Letter of Standing
Step 3
Provide two pieces of government-issued identification
Step 4
Provide two pieces of government-issued identification
Step 5
Complete a criminal record check
Step 6
Declare that you understand the Continuing Education/Continuing Competence/Quality Assurance requirements for renewal of your licensure for the following year
Step 7
Provide the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator with a certificate of insurance
Step 8
Book and complete you Jurisprudence Examination
Step 9
Submit the required registration and licensing fees
Step 10
Submit a completed Transition Direct Patient Care Pharmacist Transition Period Receipt
