The Province of Nova Scotia is seeking a Master’s or Doctoral-level Psychologist to provide clinical support for the first Mental Health and Addictions Insured Services Program.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychologist who:
- Thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about mentoring clinicians
- Has a deep understanding of mood and anxiety disorders and evidence-based treatments
- Can collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including public and private mental health providers
- Is committed to improving access to mental health care in Nova Scotia
- Has experience in clinical supervision, program development, and quality assurance
- Values continuous learning and professional development

Your Role as a Clinical Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support: Support contracted clinicians (Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselling Therapists) in delivering evidence-based care.
Mentorship & Training: Facilitate monthly Community of Practice sessions and lead professional development programs for contracted clinicians.
Quality Assurance: Work with contracted clinicals to foster evidence based, best practice for the insured services program
Client Care Coordination: Assist in referrals, monitoring treatment outcomes, and supporting transitions between public and private care.
