Streamlined licensing for radiation therapists applying from the U.S. 

Before applying for a radiation therapist position in Nova Scotia, you’ll need to be registered with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP). If you completed your education outside of Canada, NSCMIRTP offers a streamlined assessment and registration process designed to provide a faster, more predictable pathway to licensure. We recommend starting the licensing process early to help ensure a smooth hiring experience. Once licensed, your eligibility for employment with Nova Scotia Health will be confirmed as part of the application process—and our team is here to support you along the way.
